- Type-material: syntype major and minor workers, syntype queens, syntype males (numbers not stated, “several”).
- Type-locality: Ecuador: Galapagos Is, Indefatigable I. (= Santa Cruz I.), Seymour Bay, 1923 (W.M. Wheeler).
- Type-depository: MCZC.
